Responsibilities
- Manage the daily workload of the acute pain service in collaboration with the anesthesiologist
- Research: Encourages, supports, and facilitates the development of researchable questions in clinical practice.
- The Nurse Practitioner (NP) role in this service will report to the Director of Perioperative Services in collaboration with the Chief of Anesthesiology to assess and optimize patients scheduled for surgery.
Requirements
- Current registration in the Extended Class, Nurse Practitioner with the College of Nurses of Ontario required (with no restrictions).
- Completion of a Master Degree in Nursing required.
- Membership in specialty related organizations e.g. NPAO, RNAO required
- May be required to assist with pain procedures.

- Eligibility for cross-appointment to an academic institution preferred.

Compensation
- $65.090- $76.140 per hour
