About the role

- Reports To: Safety Manager
Responsibilities
- Identify and correct unsafe behaviors or conditions immediately, document findings and corrective actions.
- support in preparing detailed reports and recommend preventive actions.
- Proven ability to lead by example and enforce policies respectfully but firmly.
- Provide the safety manager with the information needed to investigate near misses, incidents, and injuries; support in preparing detailed reports and recommend preventive actions.
Requirements
- Rotations may include 3 days on/1 day off, 10 days on/4 days off, or similar schedules as required.
- Strong knowledge of safety standards, risk management, provincial OH&S regulations and safe work procedures.
- Must be confident in making difficult decisions independently, even when facing potential pushback from the broader team.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in isolated environments.
- Other duties as required.
- Work Hours: Full-time hours are provided; schedules vary depending on team assignment and operational needs and may change week to week. Rotations may include 3 days on/1 day off, 10 days on/4 days off, or similar schedules as required.

Compensation
