About the role
- This program is ideal for individuals with a basic understanding of woodworking and a strong desire to grow in the trade while learning hand carving and inlay techniques.

- At times, machines and hand tools may create noise exposure that is within sound level parameters.
Requirements
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Employees will operate a variety of equipment and hand tools in a repetitive manner requiring a high degree of manual dexterity and close visual attention.
- The employee must be able to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs. if needed.
Nice to have
- Apprentices will gain hands-on experience executing simple and complex inlays, working from templates, assisting skilled senior wood carvers, preparing materials, maintaining tools, and helping organize the workspace.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Assist with preparing and organizing wood pieces for projects.
- Operate basic woodworking tools and equipment (training provided).
- Help carve, sand, assemble, and finish wood components as directed.
- Follow shop drawings and work instructions with attention to detail.
- Assist team members with moving materials and setting up workstations.
- Observe and learn from experienced woodworkers on carving, inlaying, and finishing techniques.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT This position operates in a manufacturing and production floor environment.
