About the role
- General Statement of Duties: Responsible for repair, overhaul and preventive maintenance of hospital owned equipment, fixtures, fittings, furnishings and utilities distribution.
- Must work under normal day-to-day conditions as well as under emergency conditions that require all equipment function as normal.
- Restarts and shut down chillers and boilers.
Responsibilities
- Make general building repairs to include but not limited to general carpentry repairs, ceiling and floor repairs, and furniture.
- Perform paint and patch work.
- Replacement of building interior lighting as needed and resetting of circuit breakers.
Skills
- Knowledge of Building Maintenance.
- Demonstrates expert level knowledge of maintenance practices and expert level skills in common tools and equipment.
- Building Customer Loyalty.
- Safety Awareness.
- Being aware of conditions that affect employee safety.
