About the role

  • General Statement of Duties: Responsible for repair, overhaul and preventive maintenance of hospital owned equipment, fixtures, fittings, furnishings and utilities distribution.
  • Must work under normal day-to-day conditions as well as under emergency conditions that require all equipment function as normal.
  • Restarts and shut down chillers and boilers.

Responsibilities

  • Make general building repairs to include but not limited to general carpentry repairs, ceiling and floor repairs, and furniture.
  • Perform paint and patch work.
  • Replacement of building interior lighting as needed and resetting of circuit breakers.

Skills

  • Knowledge of Building Maintenance.
  • Demonstrates expert level knowledge of maintenance practices and expert level skills in common tools and equipment.
  • Building Customer Loyalty.
  • Safety Awareness.
  • Being aware of conditions that affect employee safety.
