About the role

  • We have an immediate opportunity for an Accountant in our St.
  • This role requires independent execution of period‑end close activities, strong technical accounting skills, strong attention to detail, collaboration across teams, RDA (robotics desktop automation) experience, and a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Preparation, analysis and posting of journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, payroll, and merchandise-related transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Review and approve journal entries prepared by our third-partner shared service organization to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, global accounting teams, and third‑party service providers to support the financial close, resolve issues, and improve processes.
  • Develop, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned processes.
  • As the Accountant, you will support day-to-day accounting operations within a Shared Services environment, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant delivery of accounting activities in accordance with established service levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating RDA Bots or accounting automation tools.

Nice to have

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
  • Hands‑on experience working in SAP.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills, high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and demonstrated problem‑solving ability.
  • Ability to operate independently with general supervision and under challenging time constraints.
  • Ability to convey communications clearly, concisely, and accurately.
