Responsibilities
- You'll lead Data Center and Advanced Technology projects, working closely with field leads, clients, vendors, and internal support teams.
- Maintain a complete, detailed understanding of project scope and contract requirements
- Drive jobsite readiness, daily priorities, and constraint removal with field leadership
- documentation, punch/deficiency closure, and client handover support
- Lead and support project team members (project engineers, coordinators, and site leadership)
- Mentor, coach, and develop project engineers for fast-paced growth
- Set expectations, build morale, and create a high-accountability / high-support culture
- Deliver accurate monthly status reporting (schedule, cost, risks, and key milestones)
- Lead planning and scheduling activities; coordinate sequencing across trades and vendors
- Manage schedule updates, look-aheads, and milestone tracking to keep teams aligned and moving
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience (mission critical / data center experience is a strong asset)
- Experience leading complex MEP / electrical / controls / commissioning-heavy scopes on fast-track projects (typically 5-10+ years total experience is ideal)
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is an asset - equivalent experience and/or a strong trade/technical background (electrical, mechanical, I&C/BAS) will be considered
- Strong understanding of building processes, systems, and project delivery fundamentals, including QA/QC, safety, and turnover/closeout documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common project tools (PM software, cost management/accounting software, scheduling software)
