About the role

  • All electrical control panels vary by size and complexity and are built to Engineering and UL508A specifications.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and CAD assembly drawings, and physically wire according to them. (these skills will be tested in the interview)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an organized work area for safety and productivity
  • Use computer ERP system to perform transactions
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirements

  • Accurately measure, drill, punch and cut metal enclosures as required.
  • Must be able to work quicky while adhering to quality and production standards in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Must be able to learn quickly
  • Employees will be responsible for but not limited to the mounting, wiring, cutting, and assembling of various components required in the build process.
  • Must be able to use power tools and hand tools including: drills, electric screwdrivers, crimping tools, & jigsaws, etc…
  • Overtime, including Saturdays, as required to meet business demands

Nice to have

  • Related experience and/or technical training preferred

Skills

  • Requires occasional lifting of 25-50 pounds and heavy hand tools on daily basis (8-10 hr shift)
  • Work requires the use of hand tools and power tools while standing 8-10 hour a day
  • Computer skills including MS Office, E-mail, and current Windows OS

Compensation

  • $25k-$50k
