About the role
- The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) collaborates with senior leadership and department managers to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives.
- This role focuses on talent management, employee relations, performance management, organizational development, compensation design and HR policy implementation.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to understand organizational goals and workforce needs.
- Provide HR insights and strategic guidance to support business growth and transformation.
- Identify talent gaps and develop succession planning strategies.
- Work with managers to retain and develop employees.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to build strong teams.
- Manage conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in HR roles, preferably in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist position.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with Workday HRIS and HR analytics.
- Demonstrated experience with collective bargaining, grievance management, and labor relations strategy.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to influence leaders and manage organizational change.
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is an asset.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving ability.
