About the role
- Your role will involve curating datasets, training and optimizing models, and maintaining model inference services.
- You'll have the opportunity to explore and apply new techniques from open-source packages and research, creatively adapting models to address business challenges across Indeed.
- In this role, you'll work on a wide spectrum of machine learning projects, from classical ML to large language model (LLM) systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI/ML systems for search, ranking, and recommendations
- Implement LLM retrieval and generation workflows
- Design metrics and conduct experiments
- Create training, inference, and evaluation pipelines
- Proficient in building ML models using Python, with strong fundamentals in software engineering and algorithms
- Experience in developing backend services using Java/Kotlin for ML-driven systems and features

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics with a minimum of 2 years of related experience
