About the role
- Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 2 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. & Friday, 11 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Saddle Creek Transportation, Inc. has an immediate opening for a tractor mechanic to join our skilled team of mechanics in our Lakeland, Florida facility.
Responsibilities
- Maintains vehicle records by completing data entry.
- Maintains safe vehicle operation by passing state inspections; following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Maintains a clean shop and work area.
Requirements
- Some tractor/trailer tire experience is required.

Nice to have
- Two years diesel mechanic experience or combination of formal training and experience.
Skills
- General mechanical ability, with extensive diesel/tractor knowledge. Some tractor/trailer tire experience is required.
