Responsibilities
- Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join structural components.
- Collaborate with team members, including fabricators, engineers, and quality control personnel, to achieve project goals.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools in good working condition through regular inspection and maintenance.
- You will collaborate closely with a team of skilled professionals to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience (at least 3-5 years) as a Structural Welder (not ship welder) or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding.
- Ability to operate welding equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with welding materials, including various types of metals and alloys.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
- Candidates must be able to lift heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in welding operations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
- Flexibility to work in different environments and adapt to changing project requirements.
