About the role
- These devices allow us to restore movement to the paralyzed, restore sight to the blind, and revolutionize how humans interact with their digital world.
- The team operates at an in-house cleanroom facility in Fremont, with operations expanding to Austin in the near future.
- As such, you will be instrumental in ramping production and accelerating Neuralink's progress.
Responsibilities
- As a Microfabrication Technician (Second Shift) at Neuralink, you will be responsible for the production of our thin-film microelectrode arrays, collaborating with engineers to maintain equipment and processes within specification, and working to improve array throughput.
- Ensuring product quality and conformance to design requirements
Requirements
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and constantly changing environment
- Ability to work 6 pm to 2 am Monday through Friday, ending on Saturday morning
- Testing the finished thin-film arrays to ensure that they meet the required specifications or standards
Nice to have
- 2+ years of hands-on experience working in a cleanroom or lab where precision is critical
- Solid understanding of basic physics and engineering fundamentals
- Demonstrated ability to interpret, distill, and disseminate relevant technical information
- Additional Requirements and Competencies:
- Ability to lift and transfer up to 25 pounds
- Ability to spend long periods standing and walking within a cleanroom environment
- Ability to work 6 pm to 2 am, Monday through Friday

- At Neuralink, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package.
- The anticipated hourly rate for this position is expected to be within the below range.
- Your actual base pay will be determined by your job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
