About the role
- Our roster has an opening with your name on it The Data Scientist, Generosity Experimentation will play a pivotal role in growing an experimentation function within the Sportsbook Commercial team focused on retention and loyalty.
- Reporting to the Experimentation Manager, this role will help to accelerate the speed of learning while maintaining standardization of processes across teams.
- They will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally, aligning with commercial stakeholders, generosity data science, marketing technology and machine learning engineering to pursue a best-in-class personalization strategy.
Responsibilities
- The Data Scientist will partner with retention marketing stakeholders and will be responsible for designing and analyzing experiments that help to answer key questions and drive promotional strategy.
- In addition, the Data Scientist will have the opportunity to be involved in key strategic initiatives that support FanDuel's overall growth.
- Introduce advanced statistical techniques to support data analysis and insight generation.
- Drive culture of experimentation throughout the Sportsbook business through initiatives to educate organization on experimentation best practices.
Requirements
- Experience with experimental design, A/B/n testing, and use of statistical analysis.
- Advanced SQL skills required.

Compensation
- $98k-$122k
