  • Reliability Technician ROLE SYNOPSIS The Reliability Technician is responsible for supporting safe, reliable, and efficient field operations within the Permian business unit.

Responsibilities

  • unconventional gas, including shale, to deliver hydrocarbon production and technical
  • Regular interaction with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, contractor personnel, and other business units to support reliability and operational priorities.

Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States for any employer other than your current employer.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Extensive experience in upstream, onshore oil and gas operations, with deep industry knowledge and a proven track record of operational excellence.
  • Experience with work management systems such as SAP, Cygnet, Scada, Enbase, or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency working with mechanical equipment and automation/instrumentation systems on upstream oil and gas facilities.
  • Experience working with rotating equipment, including pumps, gas-driven compressors, electric compressors, and related production equipment.
  • Experience working with contract labor crews.
  • Test recipient should reach toward his/her toes on opposite side as far as possible but actual touching of toes not required
  • Some travel may be required with this role, this is negotiable

Nice to have

  • Technical certification or vocational training in Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Technology, Instrumentation, or related field.
  • Experience supporting reliability and maintenance programs in upstream oil and gas operations.
  • Knowledge of LDAR programs, emissions monitoring, and environmental compliance requirements.
  • Experience conducting RCFA investigations and implementing corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance strategies and reliability improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrates a growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Strong commitment to safety, operational excellence, and environmental stewardship.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation

  • How much do we pay (Base)?
  • $ 95,000 - $ 112,000
  • Note that the pay range listed for this position is a good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting.
