About the role

  • This role enforces company safety protocols to ensure compliance with federal, state, and location regulations.
  • Ensure Toolbox Talks, and pre-task planning is being conducted.
  • Stop-work authority to address imminent hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Responsibilities

  • The Safety & Workforce Development Coordinator provides guidance, mentorship, and direction to field personnel and Trade Partners on safety matters and leads project-level safety initiatives.
  • The role collaborates with executives, operations leadership, and field teams to embed safety into all phases of construction.
  • Additionally, the role leads cross-functional safety committees, manages third-party safety consultants, and ensures trade partner safety compliance through oversight and coordination.
  • This position requires strong leadership to foster accountability, drive continuous improvement, and maintain a proactive safety culture across all job sites.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license required
  • no CDL required.

  • Minimum: 2-5 years of experience in construction safety with demonstrated site-level oversight.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field
  • Required: OSHA 10/30 Construction (or willing to obtain).
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Valid driver's license required; no CDL required.
