About the role
- Under the direction of Entertainment Management, the Entertainment Specialist will be responsible for managing projects related directly to Entertainment and Special Events.
- Responsible for routing contracts in-house as well as routing contracts to vendors.
- Must assure all contracts are fully executed and routed to Finance, Legal, Purchasing and kept in Department file.
Responsibilities
- Provides thoughtful service at all times to guests and co-workers Performs routine administrative duties with the department as needed.
- Composes correspondence as needed, sorts mail, screens phone calls Perform all other duties assigned Essential Functions Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise and hectic environments.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
Requirements
- What's Required Ability to effectively communicate in English (read, write, speak & understand) Minimum of 1-2 years' experience working directly in entertainment environment required.
- Must be able to read "fine print" areas of invoice and contracts.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be able to compose letters and generate reports as requested on the tight timeline.
- Must be able to retain confidentiality within the department.
Nice to have
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in casino environment preferred.
