- This role will be instrumental in delivering RMCI's first-generation programs as a General Contractor within hyperscale and enterprise data center environments.
Responsibilities
- Effectively communicates and collaborates with Vice President(s) of Operations and Field Operations to align execution strategies across multiple projects and regions.
- Establishes and maintains strong working relationships with:
- Engineers / design teams
- Trade partners (especially MEP and mission-critical subs)
- Risk allocation strategies specific to large-scale data center builds
- Reviews and validates:
- Procurement plans for long-lead electrical/mechanical equipment
Requirements
- Ability to assume responsibility and effectively communicate with:
- 10+ years in Project, Program, or Construction Management roles
- 5+ years of experience in data center, mission-critical, or large-scale commercial/industrial construction
- Strong understanding of:
- Experience managing large-scale electrical and mechanical scopes, including coordination of critical systems:
- Familiarity with commissioning processes and turnover requirements for mission-critical facilities
- Proven experience managing complex stakeholder environments and high-value contracts
- Hyperscale / enterprise clients
- Executive leadership
- Project teams and field operations
- Fast-track construction delivery models
- Phased turnover / early energization strategies
- High-reliability environments (redundancy, uptime requirements)
- Substations / utility interface
- Switchgear, transformers, PDUs, RPPs
Nice to have
- (Data center experience strongly preferred)
