About the role
- The Production Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing and optimizing production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety within our manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity. Collaborate with the engineering and operations teams to develop and implement process enhancements.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain a keen eye for quality control, ensuring that products meet or exceed quality standards at all stages of production. Implement and enforce quality assurance protocols to minimize defects and deviations.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including production output, downtime, maintenance logs, and any incidents. Generate relevant reports for management review.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs within the production team and facilitate training programs to enhance skills and knowledge. Mentor and develop team members to promote career growth.
- Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies. Contribute ideas and lead implementation efforts to streamline processes and reduce waste.

Requirements
- 3-5 years' experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role within a manufacturing environment.

Nice to have
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
