About the role

  • We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate Scientist to join our dynamic neuromuscular research group.
  • You will be instrumental in advancing research programs focused on muscle disorders.
  • As part of a collaborative team, your work will have a direct impact on understanding and potentially treating muscle disorders, fitting seamlessly into the broader mission of our organization to innovate and improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on laboratory work, including molecular biology, biochemical assays, cell culture, and animal studies.
  • Independently troubleshoot experiments and optimize protocols.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate research progress.
  • Contribute to study design and experimental planning, researching new in vitro and in vivo models in disease areas of interest.

Requirements

  • You are a detail-oriented and innovative scientist with a passion for research.
  • Your ability to communicate complex data clearly and concisely makes you an asset to any team.
  • B.S. with 2+ years or M.S. with 0-2+ years of relevant academic or industry experience.
  • Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with techniques such as:
  • Ability to run statistical analyses using GraphPad Prism or similar data analysis software.

Compensation

  • Tuition reimbursement of up to $10,000 per calendar year
