About the role
- We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate Scientist to join our dynamic neuromuscular research group.
- You will be instrumental in advancing research programs focused on muscle disorders.
- As part of a collaborative team, your work will have a direct impact on understanding and potentially treating muscle disorders, fitting seamlessly into the broader mission of our organization to innovate and improve patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on laboratory work, including molecular biology, biochemical assays, cell culture, and animal studies.
- Independently troubleshoot experiments and optimize protocols.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate research progress.
- Contribute to study design and experimental planning, researching new in vitro and in vivo models in disease areas of interest.
Requirements
- You are a detail-oriented and innovative scientist with a passion for research.
- Your ability to communicate complex data clearly and concisely makes you an asset to any team.
- B.S. with 2+ years or M.S. with 0-2+ years of relevant academic or industry experience.
- Degree in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or related field.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with techniques such as:
- Ability to run statistical analyses using GraphPad Prism or similar data analysis software.

Compensation
