- The Paramedic holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Medical Emergency Management Plan in accordance with the state medical policies and procedures.
- Empty and replace linen bags as needed. - Restock IV room and O2 tank. - Unload supply boxes when they arrive.
Requirements
- ACLS and BLS Required
- Working knowledge of first aid.
- Ability to learn the operation of fire suppression and other emergency equipment.
- Ability to act effectively in emergency and stressful situations.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing and verbally.
- Ability to establish effective working relationships with employees, other agencies, and the general public.
- Ability to make independent judgments which have considerable impacts on the organization.
- Familiarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
