Responsibilities
- Monitor daily operations, identify issues, and implement timely corrective actions to minimize operational disruptions
- Coordinate and direct maintenance teams, contract crews, and support personnel to meet production, safety, and facility standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to maintain strong working relationships and ensure alignment across departments
- Manage feed usage and control departmental costs to meet budget targets
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including timekeeping, production data, downtime tracking, and compliance documentation
- As the Complex Manager, you will lead a team responsible for delivering high-quality breeder performance while maintaining the highest standards of biosecurity, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve production goals, optimize resources, and support the long-term success of our breeding program.
Requirements
- Experience coordinating departmental functions, including meetings, safety training, and operational planning
- Prior experience in poultry production or agriculture operations required; multi-site leadership experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams in a production environment
- Strong organizational and supervisory skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to identify problems, make sound decisions, and implement effective solutions
- Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills
Nice to have
- Prior experience in poultry production or agriculture operations required
- multi-site leadership experience preferred
- Working knowledge of computer systems and production recordkeeping tools preferred
