About the role
- The Prairie Recovery Center is seeking Full-Time Patient Care Assistants (PCAs) to serve as active parts of the patient treatment team, providing continuous patient care, supervision, interaction, and role modeling to clients.
- This is an exciting opportunity to learn about mental health or substance abuse patient care in a fast-paced environment with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental rounds of the facility for safety, and document observations.
- Implement crisis management skills as directed by licensed staff.
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- degree from an accredited college or university in social work, recreational therapy or appropriate therapeutic discipline preferred though not required.
