About the role

CPPI is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of education construction projects, including K-12 and higher education.
This position is responsible for managing all phases of a project, from preconstruction planning through final completion, while maintaining budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction goals.

Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and overall project execution.
Partner with field leadership to develop site logistics plans, phasing strategies, and construction sequencing for occupied campuses.
Direct preconstruction activities, including estimating support, scope reviews, value engineering, and subcontractor procurement.
Manage change orders, contract modifications, and resolve issues to minimize project impacts.
Implement corrective action plans when schedule or budget concerns arise.
Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones align with academic calendars and occupancy requirements.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to support future opportunities and repeat business.
Mentor and support the growth of Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other team members.
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of project and company objectives.

Valid driver's license required.
Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
Experience working with public-sector clients, including school districts, colleges, and universities.
Proficiency with project management, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting software.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
OSHA certification preferred.
