About the role
- CPPI is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of education construction projects, including K-12 and higher education.
- This position is responsible for managing all phases of a project, from preconstruction planning through final completion, while maintaining budget, schedule, quality, and client satisfaction goals.

Responsibilities
- Manage project budgets, schedules, procurement activities, and overall project execution.
- Partner with field leadership to develop site logistics plans, phasing strategies, and construction sequencing for occupied campuses.
- Direct preconstruction activities, including estimating support, scope reviews, value engineering, and subcontractor procurement.
- Manage change orders, contract modifications, and resolve issues to minimize project impacts.
- Implement corrective action plans when schedule or budget concerns arise.
- Develop, monitor, and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones align with academic calendars and occupancy requirements.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support future opportunities and repeat business.
- Mentor and support the growth of Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers, and other team members.
- Perform additional duties as assigned in support of project and company objectives.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license required.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial construction project management experience.
- Experience working with public-sector clients, including school districts, colleges, and universities.
- Proficiency with project management, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting software.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- OSHA certification preferred.
