Responsibilities
- Collaborate with planning staff to display, write, and present solutions that help communities strengthen their transportation systems
- Support planning in active transportation, transit-oriented development, and transit network design
- Support your team.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in urban/city/regional planning, civil engineering, or related field plus five years of relevant experience o Master's degree may substitute for one year of experience
- A strong understanding of multimodal transportation planning topics and the ability to communicate them in visual, written, and spoken form
- Strong research, communication, planning, and organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including creating graphs in Excel and data-focused presentations in PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including touching-up GIS maps in Illustrator and drafting reports in InDesign
- Experience with SQL, Python, R, or other scripting languages for automating analysis, visualization, and report templates preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of ESRI's ArcGIS software suite
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
