Admissions Counselors are responsible for participating in activities and tasks that result in moving students through the enrollment funnel.
The enrollment funnel includes the following critical processes: Prospect Generation, Inquiry Management, Application Development, and Admission to Enrollment.

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in oral, written, and interpersonal settings.

Experience of working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, preferably Slate.
Experience working in admissions and with prospective college students.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to write and speak fluently in Spanish

Job Description
This position is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of new students to Southwest Minnesota State University.
Admissions Counselors are responsible for participating in activities and tasks that result in moving students through the enrollment funnel.
The enrollment funnel includes the following critical processes: Prospect Generation, Inquiry Management, Application Development, and Admission to Enrollment.
The primary objective is to meet or exceed enrollment goals established by the administration.

Bachelor's degree plus one year of professional experience in a related field or two years of professional experience or an equivalent combination of post-secondary training, education and/or professional experience.
