About the role
- Independently managing varied geomatics projects
- Prepare well planned and complete project proposals based on client needs, available background information and site inspection
- Monitoring survey performance on projects
Responsibilities
- Ensure scope, schedules and deliverables are defined and completed for all projects, and design and plan project execution
- Support or lead business development efforts, including proposals, discussions with potential new clients, and business development activities

Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive survey experience with 5-8 years managing mid to complex legal survey projects
- Degree or Diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology
- Strong knowledge of surveying techniques, practices, equipment, software and safety requirements
- Strong understanding of project management resource planning and budgeting practices and techniques
- Ability to write strong proposals for medium-sized projects
Skills
- Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proven business development skills to grow industry relationships and generate new revenue streams through engagement of prospective clients

- The salary for this position is commensurate with experience; the salary range for this position is $131,385 - $164,100 annually.
