About the role
- It operates across four core markets: political news and opinion, business news and personal finance, golf, and sports and genre entertainment.
- The Market Sales Manager will also be responsible for account management and growing their existing book of business.
- The Market Sales Manager will use this detailed knowledge, under the assistance of their Area team to maximize the key performance metrics of the market.

Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Computer/Internet experience required
- Must be able to travel regularly, work overtime, and on weekends as necessary.
- As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with a VERSANT Media employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
Nice to have
- Experience with online distribution platforms/technology is a plus
- Salesforce or similar CRM experience
- College degree, preferred
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
- Sales development and/or strategy experience
- Digital sales and marketing experience is a plus
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding metrics and goals
Compensation
- $90,000 - 105,000 base + commission.
