About the role
- FC Cincinnati is searching for an experienced, reliable, and detail-oriented Academy Athletic Trainer.
- The Developmental Academy Athletic Trainer will be responsible for, but not limited to implementing the sports medicine program and coordinating medical care for the development academy.
- This position is employed by FC Cincinnati and reports to the Director of Performance Services.

- Maintain computerized injury and treatment logs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Masters Degree in athletic training from CAATE recognized school required
- NATABOC Certification required
- Active Ohio Athletic Trainer Licensure required or the ability to obtain quickly
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Ability to work long, irregular hours and weekends
- Ability to communicate well with coaching staff and other members of the club
- Ability to work on a team to accomplish common goals
- Ability to handle confidential information in a respectful and appropriate manner
- Ability to consistently be at work on time, follow instructions, respond to management directions, commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals and complete necessary tasks
- Perform other duties as assigned or required
Nice to have
- Certified Strength & Conditioning Coach (CSCS) preferred

- Refer athletes to team physicians or other health care providers when necessary
- Support with practice and game coverage including travel (could include travel outside of the United States)
- Preparation of field and team for practices and games, including but not limited to preparing coolers/ice chest, placement of emergency equipment and medical prepartions.
