Responsibilities

  • Review, post, analyze, and document all intercompany entries and reconciliations, ensuring thorough, organized documentation and adequate support.
  • Manage intercompany and intracompany invoicing and settlement process, including coordination with Account Payable and other stakeholder to properly settle intercompany balances.
  • Coordinate with intercompany partners to ensure accurate classification and accounting treatment of intercompany activity in accordance with company policy and accounting standards.
  • Maintain and adherence to established intercompany policies and transfer pricing agreements.
  • Maintain the general ledger and statutory financial ledgers, including ensuring proper and timely entering and recording of transactions in accordance with the Company's accounting policies.
  • Support automation initiatives related to intercompany and consolidation accounting tasks.

Requirements

  • Ability to meet multiple tight deadlines and possess good time management skills
  • Ability to work independently on accounting projects with minimal direction
  • Ability to make decisions with discretion and sound judgment
  • Ability to work independently or with a team, self-starter, energetic
  • 5 or more years of accounting experience in corporate accounting department with focus on intercompany and consolidation transactions.
  • Experience with multi-entity accounting, and international entities, and cross-border accounting workflow is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly strong Excel skills including the ability to create pivot tables and perform VLOOKUPs.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred but not required.
  • Experience with intercompany transactions and consolidation, as well as month-end close process utilizing a large ERP system
  • Oracle Cloud is preferred.
  • Familiarity with foreign exchange impact on intercompany transactions a plus.

Compensation

  • CAD $77,837.00 - 122,548.53 annually
