Review, post, analyze, and document all intercompany entries and reconciliations, ensuring thorough, organized documentation and adequate support.
Manage intercompany and intracompany invoicing and settlement process, including coordination with Account Payable and other stakeholder to properly settle intercompany balances.
Coordinate with intercompany partners to ensure accurate classification and accounting treatment of intercompany activity in accordance with company policy and accounting standards.
Maintain and adherence to established intercompany policies and transfer pricing agreements.
Maintain the general ledger and statutory financial ledgers, including ensuring proper and timely entering and recording of transactions in accordance with the Company's accounting policies.
Support automation initiatives related to intercompany and consolidation accounting tasks.

Ability to meet multiple tight deadlines and possess good time management skills
Ability to work independently on accounting projects with minimal direction
Ability to make decisions with discretion and sound judgment
Ability to work independently or with a team, self-starter, energetic
5 or more years of accounting experience in corporate accounting department with focus on intercompany and consolidation transactions.
Experience with multi-entity accounting, and international entities, and cross-border accounting workflow is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly strong Excel skills including the ability to create pivot tables and perform VLOOKUPs.

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred but not required.
Experience with intercompany transactions and consolidation, as well as month-end close process utilizing a large ERP system
Oracle Cloud is preferred.
Familiarity with foreign exchange impact on intercompany transactions a plus.

At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the Compensation (base salary + discretionary bonus) for this role to be within the range shown below.
