- Provide timely responses to data/metric requests from leadership.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the department including filing, distribution of material and creation of meeting invitations, reports, minutes, and presentations.
- Maintain and distribute numerous manuals (i.e.. DPC Safety Rules; WECA Safety Manual, DPC written programs (formerly Safety Practices), etc.), and safety poster program.
- Provide administrative support to the Safety Culture Systemwide Committee
- Manage various safety related programs including Hearing conservation, HazCom, Prescription Glasses, AED's etc.
- As a team, we work together to leverage the team's diverse perspectives, ideas and experiences to deliver nothing less than the best.
- The Safety Coordinator is responsible to provide administrative support to the Safety team in the day-to-day activities.
- Support the enterprise in connecting with vital safety related resources and information.

- Other Job Characteristics: Ability to work with a diverse workforce that is spread across a large service territory.
- Must be familiar with policies, procedures, rules as well as state and federal regulations as it relates to Safety.
- Independently and proactively prepare for safety committee meetings and those required by leadership and/or resulting from an incident including:
- Maintain OSHA-required records (training and incidents) and ensure compliance with OSHA timelines, posting requirements, etc.
Skills
- verbal, listening and written communication skills
- consistent positive interpersonal and customer service skills. Budget preparation experience preferred.

Compensation
- Coordinate and develop the annual budget and monthly reforecast for the Safety cost center.
