Responsibilities

  • Supports Sales and Account Management teams with proofing operational requests, reviewing pricing, drafting and reviewing itineraries, handling itinerary changes, tour customizations, general destination/product information, answers to pricing and itinerary specifics, and special requests by using knowledge of program destinations, systems and/or communicating with AM/Sales and Product Delivery teams.
  • Supports sales and account management by answering questions, providing recommendations and completing tasks within the tour life cycle.
  • Provides support on other projects and tasks as requested by management. May be assigned responsibilities related to group management, pricing, or program operations/management.
  • Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures so as to serve as an effective staff member.
  • Support company policies and management decisions with a sense of urgency and professionalism.
  • Develop and maintain a culture of teamwork, positive communication, and fulfilling the WorldStrides mission.
  • The Program Coordinator provides support to Sales, Account Management, and Operations teams for the K12 Group Domestic lines of business by ensuring completeness and accuracy on all tasks.

  • Collaborative nature working with team members across different offices with different responsibilities.
  • General understanding of the student travel industry, with focus on group travel and/or the WorldStrides business model.
  • Knowledge of Domestic US and some international destinations. Personal travel/onsite experience preferred.

  • Each of these experiences helps students to see beyond the classroom and to see the world - and themselves - in new ways.
  • Some travel to other WorldStrides offices may be required; no more than once per year.
  • Seasonality relates to peak volumes of itinerary work and is subject to change. Example of hours can rage from 2-40 hours per week as season demands. Approximately 500-900 hours per year but may vary.
  • Write performance appraisals on an annual basis to be reviewed with Team Leader.
