About the role

This position is based in the Firm's global operations center in Tampa, FL.
General Description: The Human Resources Manager is responsible for executing and overseeing the firm's day-to-day HR operations.
This role blends tactical execution with team leadership, process improvement, and operational oversight.

The Human Resources Manager partners closely with HR leadership, department heads, office managers, and HR team members to deliver high-quality, responsive, and compliant HR services.
Lead and Support HR Operations Team
Manage and develop the HR Operations team, providing day-to-day oversight, coaching, and performance guidance, while leading through a collaborative, responsive, and customer service-oriented approach that fosters strong partnerships with managers and employees.
Support daily HR operations to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent customer service.
Perform and oversee key processes including background checks, Workday transactions, onboarding and offboarding, timecard administration, employment verifications, and employee engagement activities.
Employee Experience & Support
Manage onboarding, new hire orientation, offboarding, and exit interviews to ensure a positive and seamless employee experience.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; monitor regulatory updates and implement necessary changes.
Manage unemployment claims and ensure timely, compliant responses.
Design and deliver training on HR policies, procedures, and compliance topics, as needed.

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Expected to maintain a regular and predictable work schedule and full attention to and engagement in work activities on behalf of the firm during business hours unless otherwise approved or required by applicable law.

Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy, accountability, and follow-through.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service mindset.
Knowledge or ability to learn Microsoft Office Suite, or Microsoft 365.
Required Qualifications & Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related field required.
5-7+ years of progressive HR experience with a balance of operational and strategic responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to leverage these tools in day-to-day operations.
Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
Preferred Qualifications & Education:
HR certification (PHR, SPHR) preferred.
