About the role

  • The incumbent will serve as the primary subject matter expert on Mercer's job evaluation framework and will play a central role in ensuring pay equity, market competitiveness, and transparency across all regions.

Responsibilities

  • Experience supporting incentive plan design and administration is an asset.

  • This position partners closely with HR Business Partners, Finance, and People Leaders to deliver data-driven, fair, and consistent compensation outcomes globally.
  • Incentive Plan Design & Administration
  • Support the design, modelling, and administration of Incentive Plans across Armstrong's global sales, middle management and leadership populations.
  • Build and maintain payout simulation models, scenario analyses, and plan documentation to support plan launches and calibration cycles.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement and Finance to ensure accurate target setting, accrual tracking, and payout processing for all incentive programs.
  • Maintain plan documentation, participant eligibility files, and governance records for all incentive programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

  • Hands-on experience with Mercer's IPE job evaluation methodology and survey platform is strongly preferred.

Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Index/match, VLOOKUP, S UMIFS, COUNTIFS, P ivot tables, Power Query, scenario modelling etc. ).
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms
  • BambooHR experience is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical capability - comfortable working with large datasets and translating data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of pay equity frameworks, compensation legislation, and global pay transparency trends.
  • Soft Skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail - compensation errors have direct financial and employee relations consequences.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential data with the highest degree of discretion and integrity.
