About the role

- This is a full-time, direct-hire position, and no contract options for unsolicited agency submissions will be considered
- This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, intelligent automation, process orchestration, and low-code application development.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain enterprise-level applications using the Appian platform.
- Build applications including user interfaces, process workflows, data models, records, reports, and integrations.
- Design and develop process models, records, reports, SAIL interfaces, web services, and reusable application components.
- Partner with architects, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to deliver innovative automation and AI-enabled solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Appian applications with enterprise platforms, cloud services, APIs, and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of new technologies, including AI-powered capabilities, intelligent document processing, process mining, and automation tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise-level applications using object-oriented technology stacks.
- 3+ years of experience as a Senior Appian Developer developing enterprise applications on the Appian platform.
- 3+ years of experience with Appian components including Process Models, Records, Reports, Rules, SAIL, Security, Integrations, and Web APIs.
- Experience integrating Appian with external systems, APIs, and enterprise applications.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and/or equivalent military experience.
- Experience with Java or any other object-oriented software development.
- Experience with UIPath or other robotic process automation (RPA) platforms.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational database design and development.
- Experience working with cloud-native architecture, REST APIs, and modern integration frameworks.
