About the role

  • This is a hands-on field position for an experienced equipment operator who takes pride in safely operating heavy equipment, maintaining productivity, and delivering quality work on technically challenging projects.
  • Company-paid travel expenses and per diem are provided when applicable.
  • Assist with environmental remediation, selective demolition, industrial demolition, and site restoration activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform contaminated soil excavation, demolition, grading, backfilling, material handling, and site preparation.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance.
  • Work closely with superintendents, foremen, laborers, and project managers to maintain production schedules.
  • Load trucks, manage stockpiles, and maintain organized work areas.
  • Perform additional labor duties as needed to support project operations.
  • Ability to perform grading, excavation, loading, backfilling, and material handling operations safely and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of job site safety and equipment operation.

Nice to have

  • Experience operating equipment on environmental remediation or demolition projects.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER.
  • Experience working around underground utilities and environmental controls.
