About the role
- InnovaCare Management Services Company, LLC
- The Medical Assistant (MA) participates in planning, providing, and evaluating patient care at the appropriate skill level. They have a duty to provide a standard of care that meets or exceeds that of a competent and knowledgeable Medical Assistant.
Responsibilities
- The MA performs duties within their scope of practice delegated by, and under the supervision of, a physician (FL) (In FL cannot be anyone other than a MD).
- Perform X-rays, where applicable
Requirements
- ☐ Required immunizations and vaccinations.
- ☐ Ability to lift upwards of 5 0 pounds.
- ☐ Ability to push or pull heavy objects using up to 10 0 pounds of force.
- ☐ Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.
- ☐ Ability to use fine motor skills to operate equipment and/or machinery.
- ☐ Ability to receive and comprehend instructions verbally and/or in writing.
- ☐ Ability to use logical reasoning for simple and complex problem solving.
- ☐ Ability to discriminate shades of color when reading a dipstick.
- May be required to travel to more than one facility.
