About the role
- MINISO is looking for an Assistant Buyer who will be responsible for assisting the buying team in creating an exciting and timely product assortment that meets or exceeds the sales volume and profit for the department.
- We are looking for someone who has an eye for trends and strong business acumen.
- Oversee the creation, updating, and maintenance of purchase orders.
Responsibilities
- Learn the elements of negotiation and develop effective relationships with vendors by participating in in person meetings.
- Develop and demonstrate foundational product knowledge through in person shopping at MINISO Stores and at the competition.
- Partner with Planner to track planned receipt flow on a consistent basis.
- Support Buyers in preparation of key business meetings (i.e. vendor appointments, sample management, assortment planning) including formatting of reports.
- Collaborate with accounts payable to rectify any discrepancies in pricing and terms on invoices and inventory payments.
- Support Buyer in cross-functional initiatives to maximize performance results and scale the team.

- The ability to prioritize tasks in order to balance the immediate and long-term needs of the business with a high sense of urgency.
Skills
- Ensure product attribute accuracy within our management databases and synchronize across systems.
Compensation
- 1-3 years of experience in a retail buying role Pay Range USD $70,304.00 - USD $70,304.00 /Yr.
