Responsibilities

  • This role will collaborate with all members of the Cardiology team, Reactivation Care Centre, Cath Lab, Information Services and CorHealth.
  • The Data Management Clerk will be responsible to support the other members of the team through accurate data entry and review data entered by others.

Requirements

  • Pulls reports from the CorHealth registry as required and notes any trends in data
  • knowledge of approaches, tools and techniques for working with individuals and groups in a constructive and collegial manner

Skills

  • ability to express oneself and communicate with others verbally, demonstrates command of language and clarity of thought
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Two year college diploma required; degree in health related field preferred
  • Minimum of one year working experience with data entry required; previous experience in a hospital environment an asset
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word required; skills will be tested
  • Ability to work with complex data in Excel tables
  • Advanced skills in analysis/organization of project related tasks
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a diverse team
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Understanding of Meditech system
  • Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking skills to day-to-day work

Compensation

  • Minimum: $49,471.50 per annum
  • Maximum: $61,834.50 per annum
