About the role
- As a Foreman, you are responsible for your crew's production, safety, and quality of work, while also planning day‑to‑day operations.
- You will supervise and direct the field crew to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.
- You will work alongside your crew each day to install commercial roofing systems.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and roofing teams to align schedules, resolve issues, and maintain workflow.
- Lead, train, and provide guidance to your crew
Requirements
- 4+ years of installation experience with commercial roofing is required- single-ply membrane roofs, mechanically attached, fully adhered, etc.
- Must be at journeyman level in a current union or willing to join the Local 20 in K.C.
- Experience with layout, measuring, installing various roof systems from start to finish
- Ability to read and interpret roof blueprints and follow taper plans
- Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record (MVR screening)
- Candidates for this role must be proficient in commercial roofing applications and possess the leadership skills necessary to succeed in this position.
