Requirements
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Nice to have
- P erform s maintenance work, repair, and adjustment of equipment
- change and replace belts, pulleys, sprockets, bearings, chains, motors and general maintenance on other specialty equipment unique to packaging.
- Understands and can explain the purpose and operation of all equipment in the packaging area and makes decisions on appropriate troubleshooting and repair of equipment as situations warrant.
- Diagnoses and repair s problems with valves, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
- Updates CMMS (computerized maintenance management system) with status and details of work order results daily.
- (Required & Preferred)
- Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required.
- If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements
Skills
- Experience performing maintenance in a manufacturing environment, specifically food processing highly preferred.
- Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
- Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirement may vary by location).
- Ability to perform basic math functions, required

- Actual compensation may be higher or lower in the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to a candidate's work location, job duties, experience and expertise.
