About the role
- PetVet Care Centers' Columbia Equine Hospital is currently seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join their team!
- Position Overview Join our team as a Care Coordinator who contributes to the success of a high-performing organization committed to delivering superior care and exceptional service.
- Within the veterinary field, this position aligns closely with roles often titled Veterinary Receptionist, Customer Service Representative, or Client Care Specialist.
Responsibilities
- Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments.
- Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts.
- Reconciles cash drawer and performs end-of-day duties for accurate financial transactions.
- The ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize work appropriately, and maintain excellent customer service and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
- Local autonomy with national support
Requirements
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be considered for this position
- At least 2 years of experience working in an administrative or clerical capacity
Skills
- Dependability; full-time presence at work is essential for every shift
- Flexibility
- Team player
- Experience with and knowledge of horses
- Experience with veterinary PIMS systems
- Experience working in an administrative capacity in the veterinary industry
- competency with Microsoft Office suite
- Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Overtime as needed.
