- A Distribution Center (DC) Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse activities including but not limited to receiving, replenishing and overall organization of product and activities performed in the warehouse.
Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to pull/push a load up to 70 lbs.
- Requires ability to tolerate working in an environment with inside/outside ambient/extreme temperatures.
- Must be able to work in noisy and crowded environments.
- Driving may be required during the workday.
- Ability to operate facility equipment required for role.
- Ability to use a personal computer for tasks such as communicating via email, preparing reports and other forms of documentation using company and industry software.
- Ability to speak, hear, and see is required to communicate with employees, and to operate varied machinery, equipment and vehicles.
- A qualified candidate for the DC Manager role should satisfy the expectations below:
Nice to have
- High School Graduate or Equivalent Certificate
- Five Plus Years of Distribution Experience
- One to Three Years Supervisory Experience
- Strong Communication Skills
- Strong Understanding of Warehouse Management Systems
- Forklift and Equipment Experience and Certification
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred in Supply Chain, Logistics or Other Related Field
- Ability to Influence Others
