About the role
- Ingram Content Group (ICG) is currently seeking a Java Software Engineer, Intermediate to join our team in LaVergne, TN (Greater Nashville area).
Responsibilities
- Independently develops and modifies complex internal and external facing software applications in focused technical areas.
- Participates in the change control and deployment processes for operational support.
- Provides medium level full application development life cycle support including specifications, prototypes, development, quality assurance and deployment.
- Works with team members to identify and enforce design patterns, standards, etc.
- Volunteer opportunities and in-kind drives for non-profits throughout the year
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or directly related year for year experience
- 4+ years' of software development experience
- 2+ years' of database development experience
- Knowledge of Development Tools with demonstrated expert experience in appropriate development tools:
- Intermediate level knowledge of software development languages and principles
- Broad knowledge of software tools and technologies
- Researches and recommends new approaches surrounding user experience or web development.

- This person leverages the latest database technologies as a basis for complex analytical application development.
- Explores new technologies and development techniques.
- This position will be expected by hybrid and work from the Ingram headquarters 4 days per week.

Compensation
- $97,201 - $123,251.
- This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position.
