About the role

  • Description Summary: The Director - Corporate, Specialty and Government PM is a senior portfolio management role.
  • The Director is responsible for the management of a portfolio of commercial loans within the Corporate, Specialty, and Government Banking group.
  • Primary responsibilities include underwriting quality, portfolio monitoring, and portfolio administration for an assigned portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • As applicable, attend client calls (virtual or in-person) with Relationship Management and other Bank partners. Establish positioning as secondary bank contact for the portfolio of covered clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market/industry trends. Conduct industry and market research using numerous resources available.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • The Director will frequently collaborate with internal partners including Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Capital Markets, Treasury Management, and other product partners in optimizing customer relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 8+ years of experience in an underwriting or commercial banking environment
