Responsibilities
- The project manager will be responsible for project coordination and work planning; Performance management and quality control; COR engagement and reporting; Resource management and deployment; Interface between MCC and Contractor team; Deliverable integration and submission; Risk management and issue resolution; Support for training, outreach, and events; Compliance and documentation; Serves as Team Lead and primary MCC interface.
Requirements
- proficiency in French desired.
- At least 15 years of progressive management experience supporting acquisition and procurement programs, including responsibility for project coordination, work planning, scheduling, and team management.
- Demonstrated experience with performance management, quality assurance/quality control, and integrated project reporting for complex, multi‑stakeholder projects.
- Proven ability to serve as the primary interface with Client representatives (e.g., COR/Activity Manager), including structured reporting, information exchange, issue escalation, and decision coordination.
- Experience managing resource allocation and deployment, including multi‑disciplinary technical teams, subcontractors, and short‑term experts.
- Track record of deliverable development, integration, review, and submission, including managing timelines, dependencies, and quality standards.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management and issue resolution, including development of risk registers, mitigation strategies, and corrective action plans.
- Experience supporting or managing training, outreach, stakeholder consultations, and event coordination in an international development context.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, International Development, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
