Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, end-to-end source-to-pay processes, policies, and governance frameworks
- Develop and implement a fit-for-purpose operating model, including organizational design and staffing strategy
- Partner with IT to select, implement, and optimize procurement systems integrated with enterprise platforms
- Lead procurement compliance activities, including audit readiness and documentation standards
- Lead complex, high-value sourcing initiatives, including RFP development, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contracting support
- Partner closely with Finance, Legal, and functional leaders to ensure alignment with financial, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Build strong cross-functional relationships to drive adoption, sponsorship, and adherence to procurement practices
- Deliver regular reporting and insights on savings, pipeline, risks, and performance against key objectives
- Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships, including leading periodic business reviews
- Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 20+ years purchasing/procurement experience, with at least 8 in the biotech/pharma industry
- Experience with ERP / MRP / Procurement systems, processes and tools is a must
- Must be a self-starter and highly organized
- Effective and proven negotiating skills
- Ability to communicate through the organization across all levels
Compensation
- $272,000 - $340,000 USD
