Responsibilities
- Guide students through every academic transition-from middle school to college-by developing personalized college and career-readiness plans.
- Deliver hands-on support through tutoring, mentoring, college visits, visits to career and technical sites, summer programs, and financial aid workshops.
Requirements
- At least three years of experience supporting underserved and first-generation students
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently, cultivate relationships, and engage with school leadership and with students and families
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as a team member across different tasks and projects
- A Master's degree (preferred but not required) in Education, Counseling, or a related field
- Ability to plan, organize, and deliver workshops to students in middle and high schools as well as parents
- Able to balance multiple tasks and projects and shift priorities as needed
- Grit and determination, motivated and flexible to work evenings and weekends as necessary
- MS Office Suite, Google Suite
- Pay Range:
- $33.79/hr x 343 hours total (9 weeks and 4 days) = $11,589.97
