About the role
- This role plays a critical leadership position in financial reporting, capital and risk analytics, and new business profitability oversight, while also advancing actuarial systems, data governance, and modelling capabilities.
- In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in a discretionary variable incentive plan, results are subject to both individual and company performance.

Responsibilities
- Lead actuarial system change management initiatives, including AXIS and Risk Integrity enhancements, to strengthen governance and reporting capabilities
- Support new business implementation from an actuarial systems and reporting perspective, addressing data, modelling, and process implications
- Drive continuous improvement in valuation processes, automation, and documentation
- Support integration of ALM insights into capital, valuation, and business planning processes
- Lead development and review of the new business plan, assessing profitability, capital usage, and risk profile
- Support strategic initiatives including new product development and in-force management actions
- Lead and develop a team of actuarial professionals, fostering a high-performance, collaborative culture
- Build strong working relationships across Finance, Risk, and Product
- Advocate for and support ongoing mentoring and development through the Actuarial Rotation program
Compensation
- $175,000.00 - $209,000.00
- The actual base salary for this position will depend on several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.
- In addition to base pay, eligible employees may participate in a discretionary variable incentive plan, results are subject to both individual and company performance.
