About the role

  • Formic's Finance team enables disciplined growth across our Robotics-as-a-Service platform.
  • The team oversees capital strategy, treasury, credit, financial operations, compliance, accounting, and investor engagement.
  • Finance operates at the center of strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Support preparation for the 2026 audit cycle by helping create scalable, repeatable processes
  • Support the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, accruals, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Support financial reporting activities - internal reporting schedules and management reporting support
  • Partner with Supply Chain Manager to implement inventory (parts and assets) management processes. Collaborate on process improvements and operational excellence and complete quarterly inventory counts
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for recurring accounting processes
  • Fully funded by Formic, offering support when you need it most

Requirements

Nice to have

  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including general ledger accounting, month-end close, journal entries, and account reconciliations
  • Experience supporting financial audits, audit readiness, or external auditor requests
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
  • Experience with NetSuite or similar accounting systems
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with evolving systems and processes

Skills

Compensation

  • Formic's pay and equity packages are thoughtfully benchmarked against peer companies at a similar growth stage.
  • $80,000 - $120,000 USD
