About the role

  • Summary: The Ukiah Daily Journal is looking for a reliable, Full-Time Route Delivery Driver.

  • Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Routinely drive company vehicle to/from, Lakeport and Ukiah
  • Pick up/deliver papers to distribution sites
  • Based out of Ukiah, you will drive a company vehicle to pick up newspapers, sort them, and get them ready for our local delivery carriers.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • The employee frequently is required to stand
  • and reach with hands and arms and requires the ability to lift/carry papers
  • Must be willing to submit and pass the necessary required checks

Compensation

  • The hourly wage is $16.90 or required city/county minimum wage + Cell stipend.
  • Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc.
  • In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility).
